I'm not loosing much now. I think this has been due to an increased amount of oil eating. It's easy to tell people that you don't eat meat, it's much harder to explain the oil thing. But I've been gracious and ate what was generously given to me. I may need to push back on the oil thing a little harder if I am going keep the weight loss going. Another issue is that I keep eating when I'm full (last night!). That needs to end. I feel like if I wasn't on a Wfpb diet, I would be a balloon after the past few weeks I've had... 🎈

Yeah, I’m over eating as well. I think some is due to increased activity with the nice weather, but some may just be being awake longer. 🙋🏻

I've been roasting a bunch of different veggies everyday and putting turmeric, cayenne, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, and some chia or flax seeds on it. Lately I decided to add a can of drained beans and put in a covered container in the fridge. So I bought some tortillas and I've been making a burrito with the veggies. I like it at night (after dinner and for dinner 😄) not many calories but very filling. I ve also been making green smoothies with mixed greens and strawberries with cashew milk. Yummo! I have been thinking about doing a one month raw diet, especially after making the smoothies. I could drink those all day. I haven't been doing a veggie diet very long but so far I really love it. If you have anything you enjoy I would love suggestions. Nan

just switch to fruit like watermelon ...you can over eat on it and it does not hurt you...or fruit of some type....oil has to go....for the most part...we all know this already I know....

101camshaft: the oil is definitly the problem. The past few weekends the girlfriend's parents have insisted on cooking for me and the oil in their food is through the roof. I guess I should push back a little on the oil, but they are Philippino so no meat is a radical idea for them already. I would be happy with rice and fruit, but that won't do for them.

rannanmc: Sounds like a great way of eating to me! I eat a lot of tacos made with beans and veggies. Stir fries are a favorite as well as veggie soups. I think what I make more than anything is sweet potatoes topped with beans (and spices) and usually on a bed of arugula.

I have bad days and my friend, my husband and myself go out to eat 3 times a week but still losing a tiny bit every week. The oil I especially like when doing stir fry is sesame oil, but just a very small amount. Love those stir fries.

I eat out about one a week and try and control it....every now and then chips and dip at a good mexican resturant. super hot sauce to spice it up....staying below 170...
