Scale has not been too friendly this week, but to be expected. First week honeymoon over and body seems to be rebalancing. Weight crept up a little, but clothes fitting looser. I’ll take the successes anyway they come. Appears doing well to stay below RDi. Butter has replaced mayonnaise. Will definitely work on that one. Fat intake has improved but can lower the percentage some more.

I’m thinking the culprit for the small weight gains is sugar. The Nutrisystem package i have includes their small cakes and cookies. Stuff I wasn’t eating last week. I hate throwing food away, but would rather put the bad food in the dumpster than my health.

Rain all this week has affected my mood plus some challenges at work. Thankfully not affecting my eating pattern.

Not going to sleep when I should seeems to be one of the greatest impacts on my eating behavior. If I stay up past my normal start time, I noticed my mind works hard to convince me to eat something to help me stay awake. Need to work on more sleep discipline.

Have a great day all!

I feel nutrisystem is not the healthiest or yummiest but it is still a diet program and you can lose weight in it plus is hassle free. When you cook your own diet food is full of hassle 24 ,7.prep,shopping,cooking,thawing,broiling,choping,cleaning.i lost weight in nutrisystem but after almost 3 months I couldn't eat it anymore. Maybe you should have a planB and a planC. My advice if you are really interested in losing weight. Your goal of 165,is anorexic in my mind. You should aim for 300,first goal, second goal 200. This way you enjoy the change. And if you follow nutrisystem forn3 months like I did, you might loose almost a 100 pounds okay, okay.

Clothes fitting looser is the real win so doesn't really matter what the scale says! Grand accomplishment right there!

If what you buy isn't helping you, maybe try thinking of it as just more packing cushion for the food you do want to eat.

Yes I agree with the loose clothes that’s the best indication keep up the good work.

I tried NutrisystemD frozen - the food was tasty but carbs way too high. I switched to keto and my T2D is under control now.

Thank you for the concern about the weight loss goal. The 165 is the long term end goal. I used to be anorexic/bulimic. Since my 20’s, I’ve been on the other end of the spectrum with just overeating. For my height, frame, target activity, 165 is a good weight, long term. Shorter term I hope to lose about 1 to two lbs a week. Ideally, would like to fall between 50 and 100 lbs per year. I like this FS program because all the other programs do not address the caloric/nutrional needs of someone my size. It does allow me to use a prepared plan and mindfully add what is needed to meet goals realistically and change behavior long term. Prepping is not an issue as much as prioritizing and consistency. Being mindful and accepting responsibility for my choices. So, in short, my priorities are in reverse of the above. - Improve consistency
