Pure curiosity again...does anyone drink protein drinks? I have to be careful because the whey ingredients don’t like me lol apparently if you are lactose and tolerant whey is very bad for You lesson learned lol I did find Advant drinks no whey but taste a little chalky...I only drink maybe 2 the whole week. Just got wondering if anyone knows of any other protein drink with no whey in it?

I use a vegan protein powder but it has stevia and I can't stand the taste of stevia. Orgain is the brand.

I don't, I have my protein from chicken, eggs, quinoa and beans

I drink a THRIVE Protein shake in the mornings mixed with unsweetened Almond Milk. Sometimes I mix fruit or Peanut Butter in it, but mostly just by itself.

I drink premier protein drinks. They're actually really good.

Have you thought about making your own? You can get some organic pea or hemp protein powder and make your own protein drink. I'm not lactose intolerant so I make mine with yogurt but I also usually use coconut milk, frozen strawberries, a little vanilla and I sweeten it with stevia, which I can't even taste with all the other flavors. I blend it well in my blender and then enjoy. I also use different types of flavorings and milks (cocoa powder with almond milk tastes great!). I hope you find what works for you.

Brand name VEGA plant based protein powder. I LOVE it. I usually get it at Whole Foods.

Wow!! Same thing happened to me. When you mentioned “chalk”, that’s exactly what it tasted like!! Then, about an hour later- it was horrible. And I thought I was the only one, thank you for sharing.

I am lactose intolerant as well and I drink Premier Protein and they seem to not bother me. I love the chocolate ones, the others seem to sweet. Good Luck!

My (almost) daily protein boost comes from Orgain plant based powder (chocolate fudge) and a serving of PB Fit peanut butter powder. I like to use almondmilk, but water works too.

Genepro micronotized protein is tasteless and doesn’t have a thickening affect so you can mix it with anything

I mostly get my protein from chicken, eggs and other food but some days I didn’t reach it. But I had a protein drink yesterday I just didn’t like it lol I may try to make my own and see what happens. Protein drinks are always my last resort :)

When I drink a "Muscle Milk" it causes my blood glucose to go from 90 to 110 and stay there for hours... and then I gain a pound the next day (probably from the insulin production).

I have to check the ingredients but I do Premier Protein. 160 calories 30g of protein and 1g of sugar. I drink it as a meal supplement for lunch.

Sometimes I add a little SF caramel syrup to the chocolate/PB mix - tastes like a Snickers bar!!

Have you found a non-dairy protein supplement you like and can tolerate yet? I enjoy MRM egg protein, and Bluebonnet brewer's yeast.
