I'm wondering what exactly I'm doing wrong because the rate of my weightloss isn't what I would have assumed it would be considering my diet.

I'm on two Herbalife shakes a day, which I enjoy for taste and convenience. I'm also trying to keep to a very low-carb mostly-vegetarian diet. So I try to have steamed veggies plus eggs or fish.

My weakness is mayonnaise (2 table spoons each time I have it), wine (not daily, but when I have it I'll have 2 glasses on a weekday or more on a weekend) and milky coffee (one teacup in the mornings with hot full cream milk)

Surely these aren't enough for my system's 'go-slow'? I assumed because of the low calorie shakes the other stuff don't make that much of an impact.

A plateau is normal as our bodies have systems in place that makes our metabolism used to our new restrictive daily calorie intake. Why you don't lose weight when you restrict your calories to low after a while as your body doesn't want you starving and goes about storing all the energy its able to. This is why it's important to eat at least 1200 calories a day as well as going a little higher and lower on a few days in the week . Just to keep your metabolism on it's toes.

@ Cherko thanks for the advice, I'll give it go. I guess I'm just trying to do everything right and that might be too much.
