It's been so long I didn't journal, I don't even know where to start!
Well, first there was the trip in June. Food, wine, no exercise... Just like regular holidays lol! Then we came back and July passed so fast I can't believe we are already in August. Last week I went on a business trip to Quebec, and I can't really remember what happened before that. T. started a project in his backyard, I helped him shovelling, digging, moving rocks etc... And I still have my own place to take care of, so it's been a busy month to say the least.
I must confess I didn't train at all in July. I have really good excuses lol! My life has changed a lot since I met T. and it took some time to find a balance between work, workouts, my home, his home, the dog, my diet, his non-diet... Basically I spent the usual hour of exercise driving to his place, three or four times a week. And I had no organization with food, no healthy meal cooked in advance. I didn't make any effort to eat well.
But this is not me. This chaos and lack of discipline drove me crazy. Somehow it is not difficult to get back on track. I really miss lifting and eating well. I didn't step on the scale, for me it is not about how much I weigh even though I "know" I gained weight. I will use this gain to get stronger on my lifts! I must say I am on my own with this lifestyle. My boyfriend is not very supportive, the time I spend training is time I don't spend with him and I now he doesn't like it. And well, the diet... Let's just sy that he doesnt really understand! That's ok, I will find a way to make it work for him and for me!
I realize I haven't been a really good buddy and I apologize. I should spend a bit more time on the computer this month, as I'm studying for a certification, which means I will read your journals and will be supportive!
