Can't store water on keto. Only carbs hold onto the water. Imagine retaining water on keto and IF. It's impossible 🙈

Well said, Jaco. The body stores water no matter what the state of glycogen levels is. But its a great way to think about this overnight weight gain. It reduces anxiety, soooo I guess cortisol levels should also be a little more under control.

Could also be bloating.. or food and water intake before bed. If I have to catch up on my water intake before bed I'm usually heavier the next day.

I dont know what affects mine. I had white rice last night with supper but woke up 200g lighter. Suppose I must just accept it will fluctuate especially when I am losing centimeters
