Diddlee's Journal, 14 Jul 18

Was hoping to be ok today, but the fever still go up and down. Maybe tomorrow. Eat my normal Keto foods, but the 'nurse' insisted on me eating a little rise for power. The nurse also said I need to gain 20lbs. Strange phenomenon. Loosing is not so easy on the close ones.

Hope you are better soon! I have family who say I’m losing to much and should stop. Honestly I’m still heavier than my post pregnancy weights (about a year after each). 6 pounds to go before I get there and I won’t be happy with anything over that. I think it must be a huge adjustment for our loved ones.

I'm glad your getting someone to assist in monitoring your condition.....Like I said yesterday, I was concerned for you..... Keep us informed and best of luck !!! Take your time, do things right, don't rush to recovery and end up with health issues again....

Is your wife a nurse then? If she is she has probably given you a short list of the most likely culprits. You are now on the weekend— she has probably urged you to go to urgent care or ER and so do I.

She's not a nurse, but behave like one. 🙂 Poor thing got a shock too from seeing me like that. Apart from fever headache and fatigue, I feel perfectly fine. I do respect fever as a natural antibiotic. Since the shock, the fever levels is more balanced. Wishing you all a good weekend.

Could your illness be the Keto flu I’ve seen posted on here? Don’t know anything about it, just popped in my head that it might be possible.

Your wife may not be a nurse, but I am. ER nurse is one of the many hats I have worn. Fever is not in any way a natural antibiotic.

Please, please be carful, I don't know anything about Keto but 104° temperature is something you should never ignore. If you can't bring that down very soon, get thee to the ER or at least a clinic. I ran one that high a few years ago, no pain at all, and it turned out my gall bladder was mush. Surgeon was amazed I'd had no pain. Not saying you have the same problem but better safe than sorry. I know how guys are, it's not macho to seek medical help, but wifey loves you and is concerned.
