I was feeling great yesterday. I stuck to my diet pretty well over the weekend..minus some excessive alcohol drinking :) but on Monday morning, I was surpised to find that I had lost 2.5 lbs! I was in shock! I felt great yesterday and the surprising weight loss motivated me to stick to my diet easily all Monday. However, today I found that my weight did not change. I would have at least liked to have seen the scale go down .5 lbs. It's going to be hard to stick to my diet today because I'm in 4 days and because I'm less motivated. I'm going to keep telling myself that if I stick to my diet today that I will see the scale go down tomorrow. To motivate myself, I am going to list the reasons to stick to my diet:
1) It's May, which is the perfect month to start dieting. If I start now, I'll be in shape for summer.
2) Also, if I start dieting now, in a few weeks I will already have lost weight & already be a few weeks into my diet instead of on day 1.
3) I am only on Day 4 of my diet. I promised myself that I'd try to make it 14 days sticking to my diet before it starts to get easier.
4) If I feel like giving up, I'm going to force myself to wait until the next day to break my diet. That way, I will have enough time to decide if I really want to break it or not (which I know would make me not break it).
