Carrie it really was! Wasn't cheap but we'll worth it! I don't like stir fry, usually because of it only tasting of one boring flavour, but this had so much going on! And I'll definitely be doing it again, I think it comes in at around 1000 calories still, but kept me under my 1900 daily. Good but of inspiration there, thankyou 😀

That looks fantastic and great to hear it was as tasty as it looks.

Mine was 720 calories, but I didn't add any noodles to mine as I'm not eating carbs, and yes it is a lovely stir fry with lots of different flavour layers and textures in it.

the noodles I used where only about 20g, pointless things really lol

Just costed mine up ... about £6.50 for a meal for 2 people with enough leftover for a lunch for 1 the next day. Not expensive at all.

Mine was 8 pound just for prawns and chorizo, 79p for sauce, £1.50 for mange tout and £1.25 or baby corn, £1 for noodles so about £6 a portion my end lol

Blimey! I don't know where you live or shop James but that is expensive. I get the aldi prawns at £2.99, a pack of 7 chorizo cooking sausages in Morrison's is £2.79 and I use 2 in this dish so about 80p, about £2.20 max for all the various veggies (plus home grown pepper & chilli) and about 30p worth of olive oil .... 2.99 + 0.8 + 2.20 + 0.3 = £6.30 and easily feeds 2 or 3 people.

So between £2 & £3 a portion

Oh and the sauce is 49p in my local Sainsbury's!

Usually Tesco, Tesco was where I got everything for this meal anyhow..but even so, it was worth every bit. I'd easily spend £25+ on a takeaway so not all that bad in comparison
