Ok, starting back up. Hopefully I will have the resolve that I once had. Turns out my average calorie excess for the last 4 years has been 32 calories a day. 32 calories is roughly a large carrot everyday. Of course, I didn't gain my weight by eating too many carrots.

How does one turn the tide on weight gain without being constantly vigilant? I would every once and a while realize I was gaining, try and fix it and but soon get caught up in other aspects of life. Is my destiny to stay large? Is it worth the effort? I don't know. Last time I followed that particular plan, this is what I accomplished:

I decided to go back to my old strategy for weight loss: one serving of yoghurt in the morning, a homemade sandwich with fruit and vegetables on the side, and a dinner to get my calories up between 1400-1600. I'm not going to count vegetables so as to encourage their consumption.

I'm also going to fast on the New Moon and Feast on the Full Moon. Will this help me with weight control? Probably not, but I think it will be fun.
