I'm now back at the weight I was at when I started exercising regularly and tracking my calories, around Thanksgiving 2010. Since then I've dropped and now re-added 30 pounds - and I'm only about 16 lbs away from being back in the "obese" BMI category. Except this time, I'm in that group for whom the BMI is overinclusive. At the same weight back in 2010, I was wearing 38" pants. Now, 34". If nothing else, it drives the point home that the scale is almost useless except for measuring rates of change.

Bulking for a year has been fun. And while I've managed to minimize the body fat gains (despite awful T levels), there is enough of it built up that it will be time to switch back to a cut within another 2 months or so - probably after the family vacation to WDW in September. I'm not doing that on a tight calorie budget~

In the meantime, I'll just keep inching back towards "obesity" :-)
