The biggest take away from this was diabetic hummingbirds. Not really. The biggest take away for me was the pie chart breaking up basal metabolic rate. I have worried whether or not my weight loss has had a super negative effect on my metabolic rate. I know it has had some. I feel cold a lot. The pie chart helped me let go of the worrying a little bit. I can influence some of this stuff through building up muscle and exercise but the majority of it is just automatic stuff happening in the background. My brain is using almost as much energy as my muscles and I don't even have to exercise it. I feed it a terrible diet of cheesy shows and snarky twitter comments and it just keeps on giving me its 17%.
