The guy I just started dating works out a bunch and loves to run, so he suggested we go for a run this weekend. I would normally be fine with this because I also love to workout and run, but since I had several injuries this spring, I just haven't gotten my endurance up where I want it. I decided to run 3.2 miles for hte first time since high school today (I got to thinking and I'm pretty sure I haven't run more than 3 miles in the eight years since I've been out) and I expected my time to be awful. After all, I hadn't run for nine weeks before starting running five weeks ago.

Not only did I run it without major problems, I also ran it under 30:00, which I couldn't believe. My first two years in cross country I BARELY got under 30:00 at the END of the season, with heavy training every day. It feels SO GOOD.

With all of this working out + working out with him, I'm definitely going to drop the inches!
