What a wonderful weekend!! I had a great time with my hubby and son, my son actually started swimming (he's 3 1/2) by himself, with floaties, so that was really exciting. He's really unsure of himself in the water, so this is pretty huge for him!

As far as eating goes, i didnt do great, i definitley let go, but even then, i doubt i went too far over my RDI, if at all. I just cant eat like a used too, i prefer healthy food, by the end of the weekend i was dying for a salad, loaded with veggies.
I would say the worst thing i ate all weekend was saturday night, we went to BWW to watch the UFC fight and i had 3 light beers and split an order of popcorn shrimp with garlic parmesan sauce with hubbs. It was SO delicious. One HUGE difference i notice in my eating habits is that i no longer have the ability to 'over do it'. I may eat things that are less than healthy, but i no longer gorge on these foods. Like the shrimp, i probably could have eaten the whole basket, in my prior life, plus knocked back quite a few more beers. But once my stomach hits that 'i'm not hungry anymore' level, i just cant eat any more.
And that is why i am considering this weekend a success. We all have to let go now and then. It was 4th of July weekend for crying out loud, OF COURSE i'm going to have a few drinks, eat party food, but i kept it reasonable. I indulged responsibly.
