So today, so far, went amazing! It's free food friday, notorious for eating greasy, terrible food. Today we had sushi, so I chose a 6 piece tuna sashimi (luckily I like it) and miso soup, so lunch was under 300 calories. Also, managed to stay away from the donuts in the break room, even though they had my favourite (basically strudel dough with CHOCOLATE inside, mmmm noms). Pretty proud of my willpower for that, but slipped from my no-diet soda rule and had a coke zero with lunch. No calories, but I hope to kick the habit anyway.

On downtime at work, as I am incredibly Type A and love to control everything (a weakness and a strength), I created a chart to record my progress each day at sticking to the goals set forth in the challenges I joined. It's like bingo for weight loss! ;P No blackouts yet, I seem to be dragging a bit on the exercise front. About to head down to the gym and see what that's like. Hope everyone is having a great day!

update!

I did it, I went to the gym! It was tough, but I'm going to go tomorrow, or I'm gonna do a pretty challenging hike instead. I'm pretty proud of me! :)

When I got home, my friend had texted me, and I had been kinda avoiding people this week as my friends are the "lets go eat cheesecake and drink beers' type (seriously, what a combination!) but it turns out that he has just started a food and fitness regimen in the hopes of losing 50 pounds, almost the same as me! So we're gonna be workout buddies, I'm pretty excited! That's how I lost weight last year, but when I lost that support structure I fell to bad habits again. Now that I have the wonderful people here, Im sure I wont let that happen again!

Dinner was also great, I made this stuffed zucchini recipe that I saw on the forum today; Link to recipe!

It was seriously delicious. I recommend it highly!

And of course, basil&lemon water on the side, thanks to kanan123. This place is awesome! :D

You totally made my day again!!! :) First of all, congrats for going an working out, that is seriously my downfall...I really need to get out there and exercise...so bravo! Secondly, your dinner looks absolutely fantastic...I wish i like zucchini. I might just have to force myself bc that looks so yummy. Third, I am happy to hear you found someone close to you that can do this with you...it is very hard to do it alone and I too have dropped most of my friends bc all they do is drink and then eat horribly...I seem to have found a new peace though with this website. I don't miss my friends all that much. hahaha although i'm sure I will miss them sooner or later. Fourthly! I am so excited to hear you are still drinking basil & lemon water...shoot it really is the best... I am drinking some right now as well! I just cant get enough of it.. it really makes people feel great when they give advice and other take it and like it...you are one of the only people I have seen that actively tries things that people post and then post it...that is soo cool. Have a great day and I know you will be sticking to your weight loss goals...you have a lot of self control.. -Michelle Kanan
