Things are going well. Need something new to try - going to be looking for a new recipe to try this week.

I'm not real hungry, but I feel a little frustrated. I used to lose weight so easily and now it just seems to take forever. I don't really think I'm consuming a lot. I mean, I'd understand if I'd already lost 50lbs and it started going slow. But I've only lost 15lbs and it has seemed to TAKE FOREVER. At this rate, I will be at my ideal weight when I turn 85!!! I don't think I can wait until then. I have things I want to do - without my hoverround!!

Here's what today was:

BREAKFAST = 7 slices of bacon = 0C
coffee with h/c = 1C

LUNCH = 1 cheese stick = 1C
2 slices of turkey = 0C

DINNER = 1 cup of chicken salad (made with chicken, mayo, onions, celery, dry mustard, fresh dill and garlic powder) = 4C
Celery with s/f peanut butter = 4C

SNACK = 1 serving of s/f pudding = 4C

TOTAL = 14C

Oh, and I tried a new sugar free thing from Starbucks, but I was a little concerned that it might have too much cream in it - so after a couple sips I decided it wasn't worth it and threw it away. So, maybe I did about 16C.

UPDATE: After I finished whining a little in my last entry, I went and peed on a stick and realized that I'm in ketosis!!!! It turned more purple than it EVER has!!! Now I feel better. I love peeing on sticks! Ignore all previous whining....Life is good!!

I'm with you! the confirmation of those keto-stix really helps me focus and stay the course! Besides, I was reading your food journal and see no reason why you shouldn't be in ketosis! Great job Paige!!

Same as BA, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be losing except for maybe incorporating some salad and more veggies. This tends to be an issue for me too.

The only thing is to try to find low-sodium bacon. One slice of bacon has more protein than you think and 7 slices sounds like a lot of sodium. Also try to find low-nitrite bacon. I don't know about you but I have found that most s/f puddings have aspartame and/or soy in them. Try to find one that has neither as both of those ingredients have been known to slow or stall weight loss. At least you are losing. :)
