I had a wonderful weekend with tons of friends and family, and friends that i think of as family lol
So needless to say there was lots of food and drink...
Saturday night was my aunts birthday party, there were ribs, potato salad, garlic bread, bacon wrapped jalepenos stuffed with cheese, and a veggie tray (that i brought) and a spinach and strawberry salad.
I had never been into the whole 'fruit and lettuce' thing, it totally grossed me out, but my aunt made it and really wanted me to try it, and not having the heart to dissapoint the birthday girl, i did.
I actually LOVED it. I loved it so much that i went and bought all the ingredients and brought it for lunch today. lol
So at the party i had the salad, a few veggies dipped in ranch and nibbled at the potato salad (a huge improvement, i usually eat everything in sight and end up miserable at family functions) but totally ruined that with my massive wine consumption. LOL
Its not very often that my family gets together, but when we do, we LOVE our wine. And even worse, my cousin who was a bartender for years decided he had to make us all of these shots that he and his wife discovered on thier honeymoon in mexico... so Sunday morning i woke up with a screaming headache and a mean craving for pizza.

Sunday was Lauren's birthday, and again with the BBQ type food. I had a little pasta salad and a piece of sausage, nibbled at some banana pudding and shared a brownie with the kiddo. BUT i spent 3 hours in the pool chasing around a 3 year old and acting as a human life preserver lol so i think it evened out.

I am back to logging in my food again this week. It felt nice to have a week to just eat and not have to stress over it. But now its back to the grind, my body has had enough of a break, now its time to get back to business.
