I’ve been doing tech support for 16 years never ever had any major issues with the end users until now...I work for a giant walk up help desk and after every interaction we have to ask the user to take survey on their experience with us. And as I’ve learned it doesn’t matter how nice I was if the user didn’t like how I said something I get a bad survey and get written up for it! Literally the user can say whatever they want and we can’t defend ourselves...if I was such an a$$hole I wouldn’t have had the jobs that I have etc...one user can ruin my career and reputation...for those 2 users who were a$$es I have to start looking for a new job. I’m not fired yet but the meeting I had I took it as my 2 week notice from my employer...sorry I had to vent in place where no one knows me lol

You are not alone in this. It is happening in all aspects of our world. Negative YELP reviews or customer feedback surveys can destroy the reputations of doctors, bakeries and small venders not to mention individuals like yourself who got caught up in someone else’s bad day. Pretty soon everyone will wearing lapel cameras just to document their side of the story.
