I haven’t tried bubbly, I do drink a similar carbonated unsweetened water “la croix”

I haven't tried this one but I have heard (from other sources than my FS friends) that it tastes like la croix and I didn't like that one at all. I have just decided that I can only get soda if we go to a restaurant and since we hardly ever go out to eat...I'm okay. Now if I could just stop the Jarritos from calling my name, I'd be set!
