Yet another non-workout day ahead of me... I think I may be getting sick. Anyway, had a really fun night downtown at Navy Pier last night with my family, and I guess my pigging out wasn't as bad as I thought (or at least the estimates weren't... haha). But I'm still a lot heavier, even though I think there is still food in me, so today starts what is becoming my all-too-regular "undo the weekend" phase of my week... though today minus the workout :(. But I'm going to lay out and read my book with a lot of water next to me, to try to keep myself from boredom-snacking.
Oh and I discovered this new FABULOUS snack, for when I need a little something... brown sugar smoked ham. The brand we get is Kretschmar, but since I don't know the nutrition info for that, I'm just assuming it's similar to the Oscar-Mayer smoked ham. It is full of protein, very low fat, and SOO tasty! Or for something a bit more substantial, I like to wrap the thinly-sliced ham around pieces of cantaloupe. It's a delicious summer treat (even though it may sound kinda disgusting!!).
Anyway, tomorrow is my ideal work schedule for working out... I can go for a run afterwards when all my food is digested so I don't feel like crap afterwards... I want to run a 6-miler by the end of the week!
Also, I think my mom is grilling chicken tonight, so that should be a nice healthy thing to have when I get back from work. :)
