It’s been an interesting week. Weight down, good eating and working out. Apparently lost some lean mass over the last 5 weeks?!?!

Good news? Bought a medium Seahawk jersey and it fit well. First medium since 10 years old? Not sure, but it’s been a while 😝

Thanks DP! I don’t really believe it, but it’s tough to see a downturn after 5 months of gains. I’m gonna keep pushing! My body tells me I’m doing good things!

Thanks Bill! My “trainer” said that the protein is the key. I’ve been at about 150 grams lately which is 25 grams higher than before. Need to be at 180+. Trying to hit these numbers without blowing up my calories is a challenge.

I had two shakes yesterday (42 grams extra) and still only got to 150 g. I’m going to go protein heavy in the morning and cut back on the carbs.

I'm upping my protein, too. Without a shake , there would be no way since I don't want to eat only tuna and chicken. A shake or two with my usual meals doesn't kill my calories and I still have room for "fun" stuff. 👍🏼💪🏼

DP, I definitely need the shakes. They also distract me from chocolate urges 🤪 I can load up on Turkey, Chicken, Tuna for nearly all protein options. I also go for anything that has twice as many grams of protein as fats (balanced eating) 🧐. cottage cheese is a bit ahead of that curve. Peas are good too, lean beef 🥩 I’ll probably eat all of these things today!
