Day 38
Happy Friday Everyone! Having a more organized day because i took the day off from working out to get some things done around the house and it feels great! I had sore hamstrings, sore shoulders from wednesdays work out so i think it was good that i have given my muscles time to repair. I have a wedding to go to saturday so i am already executing a plan to avoid over eating all the really great food that is going to be around. Im usually involved in the weddings i attend wheether it be MC or bridesmaid or drunk, so it will be nice to kick back and just enjoy the day surrounded by friends and family. Im very proud of my progress and that i have kept up with this new lifestyle for 38 days now. Staying off the scale until mid September. i think i am going to see some great changes in the next couple of weeks, i just know it. Now that i am still on this plateau, im thinking of it as a landing on the stairway to my goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world. Monday...no wait..not monday, Tomorrow ill start running in the morning or doing some sort of cardio in the AM plus the PM for the next couple of weeks to see if it will let me break through this. WAIT what am i saying! i need to think of this next ten pounds as easy. I am what i THINK. and If I tell myself it’s easy and my mind knows that I think it’s easy then it becomes easy. What i focus on expands. My mind cannot tell the difference between what I think is real and what is real, so i must know in my heart and mind that the last 10 pounds to lose is a piece of cake. MMMMmmmm cake. Eff you plateau, i only think you are there! Time to push forward and pick up speed and be even more so diligent in my choices. I sound like a fat burning warrior. CUZ I AM!
Lots of water is my plan today & to get my butt to bootcamp...

Hey you, ok, so for 6 weeks I went to this "master mind" group, we met once a week. It's all about positive thinking, putting words into action and you are what you think type of stuff. It was very interesting, but anyhoo, the teacher asked me what my goals were and one of them was losing weight. She said "no, releasing the weight, letting go of the weight, NOT "losing" weight." She said that if you tell yourself you want to "lose" weight, your mind thinks you actually cannot find the weight and wants to hold on to it. BUT if you tell yourself I am "releasing" the weight or letting it go, then your body will. She said to keep your goal weight in your thoughts whenever you think about how much you weigh, just tell yourself you are a healthy, vibrant 115 lbs!! Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you!!!
