I started dieting back in April weighing in at 308. Then I got pre- diabetic was told to drop 1/2 of my body weight to keep from developing full diabetic. The threat of this along with my desire to be thinner and healthy is where I draw my motivation. I started out on the rice diet. I lost about 20lb on that diet but found it hard to maintain for a longperiod of time. So I stopped dieting and adapted a life style change approach. I am a vegetarian that eats whole grains, soy products, tufo, dairy products. No white flour or pasta and no processed sugar. I keep my calorie intake at 1200 daily.
