I just ate lunch in a supermarket, then ended up wandering in store, looking for cherry pie filing, then started looking for cup cakes, then jelly babies, dolly mixtures, flying saucers... but bought nothing. Visited the next store and again looked for pie filling, via the frozen dessert aisles, then the cake aisle, no cup cakes there either but some mini cherry pies, a treacle tart, in-store-bakery cookies or chewy granola slices, jam doughnuts... HEAPS of appealing goodies, and despite knowing I wasn't hungry I was SO tempted, and that little voice was saying sod it, go for it! But a very tiny, underdeveloped voice reminded me we're out for lunch tomorrow at a place that does fantastic donuts, and then again for pizza dinner after theatre show we're seeing... so I RESISTED!! I know! I'm as shocked as you are! And I'm due on as well, which is probably at least partly responsible for the craving in the first place! I rushed home and made myself a warm bowl of cherry wheat cereal and that seems to have really helped. I know the day's not over yet, so there's still plenty of potential for disaster, but for now at least I was just so amazed at myself that I wanted to share :-)
