I'm struggling to have any confidence that I'm recording the right portion sizes or even the right selection from the food database. For example, I had marinated tri-tip for dinner. I didn't cook it, it was prepared by the camp cook, so it's not the leanest cut of meat, and it's been marinated. So I pick the highest calorie count I could find. Even then, I'm under in my calories and not really hungry... should I eat just to make a number? Isn't it a blessing that I'm not hungry? The Biggest Loser book says eating white starches like potatoes drives your sugar levels crazy and you'll get super hungry... so I'm avoiding sugars and starches to avoid hunger. I'm a sucker for hunger pains. I'm eating SO many veggies - even without dressing. Is that even possible!?!?!?! I'm excited that I'm so passionate and driven - thanks to my husband for being so awnry.
