I am feeling super hungry the last couple of days. I drink water to try stop it, but its not helping. My old go to for hunger was always coffee, but I really do not want to go back to my caffeine habit. This sucks

How do you feel about herbal teas?

Pascoal777, I have not thought of herbal tea, I suppose if I think about it now, I just think of hot flavoured water.... Can they take away the feelings of hunger? If so, I will get whichever flavours you say work! Hehehe, anything to take away this hollow pit in my tummy.

lol that all depends on you 😄 when I eat a high carb diet. It doesn’t matter what I drink or if I keep eating bread and refined carbs I’m always hungry. If I eat a low carb diet and I don’t manage my stress properly. I’m still hungry all the time. So I make sure to eat right and to manage my stress by doing weights exercise and sometimes cardio. I drink at least 8 glasses of water per day, sometimes more. I don’t feel hungry. I don’t drink any teas or coffees. Just water. I just suggested herbal teas, to try it out. Don’t know if they work. I know green tea works but it’s got more caffeine than coffee. Which I think you are trying to avoid. It’s getting colder now. Try to dress more warm. That might prevent you from feeling hungry. And I drink boiled water, when I feel cold. Also helps clean my stomach, and gets things moving, if you know what I mean 😬 hope you can sort out your hunger problem. x

Thanks Pascoal, sho, now that ypu mentioned the bread and heavy type carbs, my stomach actually growled. I think I am craving bread! I didnt know you could feel actual hunger when you crave something, I thought cravings were all in the head....This is a very strange realization... Who knew?

I eat a tomato with a teaspoon of olive oil. Really helps me.

I find that eating a bit more protein helps with the cravings and hunger. I eat enough of everything so that I am never really hungry.

Eat popcorn that you pop on the stove in pot. 55 calories a cup. Works for me👍

Put a bit of salt in the water

A little bit of marmite in warm water also helps a lot.
