If you are eating through boredom try to eat things like grapes for example. They are quite filling and low cals. Do some research on the internet on things to snack on there's lots of things. I personally snack on 10 grapes and it does me. Try to set yourself some tasks decorating gardening or something to keep active. Hope that helps.

I feel your pain. Starting is the hardest. First get rid of the all sweet stuff. Isolation is great for this. No fast food , less trips to the shops. I’m in week two of isolation and just started after failed toomany times. I started by not eating after 6pm. And eating breakfast . This was what helped me make a start. 4 days in and feeling good. Temptation have subsided so think I can do this.

Hi I'm new to the group, having joined to use the info on the app. I would suggest think about what you can manage to fit in with your lifestyle. I've done it both ways, lost 3 stone on the fast 800, doing it with my husband and put it back on through stress when he was seriously ill. Since then I've done it VERY gently and am SO pleased that I've lost just off 2 stone though intermittent fasting, ( no more than 50 cals between 7pm and 1pm 4 days a week) and trying to stick (loosely) to low carb principals. Taking it gently has worked for me and I can work it around feeding hubby and Mum. As Dave 10 says isolation should help as you can't eat out for the foreseeable future! Good luck xx

shock yourself by looking at calorie contents of snack foods that you eat. it was porkpies for me. 250cal per pie (those small 4 pack ones) and id have eaten 2 at a time and the pack would be gone by the emd of the day. so when i get hungry now i opt for less calorie laden and more sustaining food. being calroie aware rather than counting made things a lot easier for me to cut out out of oure shock of their empty calorie content

Get rid of all snacks and soft drinks. Then whatever you eat is going to be much better and you can slowly reduce your intake of calories till you are at the sweet spot where you are losing weight but you are not posing a risk to yourself.
