Day Three - No Caffeine. I figure if I make it a week, I should be okay. I never really had a lot of it - only one or two cups of coffee in the morning and the occassional diet coke or diet pepsi (only about one or two a month). But I had a headache to end all headaches yesterday. I had to wonder if it had to do with the no caffeine. I can't imagine that little bit would affect my body so much. But apparently it did. All I can say is that this better pay off!!!

You don't need to be a 5-cup a day coffee drinker to have a withdrawal headache due to caffeine (that's why it's considered a mood-altering drug). I only drink 1 medium size coffee a day and if I don't have one every day, guaranteed, I'll have a headache a few days later.

The headache is definitely caffeine withdrawal. I only have a couple cups in the morning too and none for the rest of the day. But I have gone a few days without drinking coffee and have gotten a headache from it. I'm interested to see if this makes a difference for you, Paige. If not, HAVE YOUR COFFEE! :)

I can tell a difference if I skip the morning java... but it's never really helped or hurt my diet. Everyone is different but in my opinion, I don't think it can hurt that bad. Of course with me, I either have my coffee or want to strangle someone, LOL.

It's not easy going without Coffee, I gave mine up a few weeks ago and the first few days I thought for sure my head was just going to split open from it. By the third day I felt fine though. Although I will admit that sometimes I stick my face in the can of coffee and just breathe deeply hoping to absorb some of the caffeine :)
