MommieAnya0220's Journal, 11 Oct 08

I had a lapse in judgment this morning and had cereal... sugary cinnamon sinful cereal AND a half a whole wheat bagel.

When you eat it, and don't care about the caloric intake, it does detremental things to ones body. I'm just glad I had some protein before I ate it.

So, I'm going to have a low cal soup for lunch with some cheese and some fresh bell pepper, and something low cal for dinner.

I just have to get up and moving today. I'm feeling so blah today, and I KNOW exercise will help me with it, but this cold has wiped me out.. blah.

Cereal can be a great thing to have for breakfast. I eat it almost daily. If you're like me and love it so much, find a nutritious one that you like. I love Kashi cereals. I found some that are high in protein and fiber and fairly low in calories, fat and sugar. I also like to use Hood Fat Free Dairy Beverage because it only has 3 grams of sugar, zero fat, and 45 calories per cup. Start buying nutritious cereals for your child too and then you won't have the bad stuff in the house to tempt you. Good job counteracting by doing good the rest of the day. Your chart is looking fantastic!

You are so right. It's not the calories but the way it throws you off balance. This week I plan to log everything - starting tomorrow, lol! Looking at your journal and how good you have been logging everything, you have me really inspired. Yes, starting tomorrow I will log EVERYTHING.
