I thought you meant body weight scale. I've brought that and the food scale is even smaller. Doesn't mean I don't over indulge, just helps me track it all.

Leave it. And keep track with a calorie counter

If it will help you then take it, don’t be ashamed either. If you can stay on track without it then leave it at home. I generally take mine bc I derail very quickly on vacation.

How long are you going for? If it’s just for a few days, I would personally leave it. But if it’s like a week and they don’t have a good one, I don’t see anything weird about bringing it if it fits in your luggage!

you can always use your hands to size portions in a pinch.

Oh gosh, I thought you meant scale to weigh yourself! If it’s a food scale, just bring it!! So much easier to stay on track with calories that way!

Bring it, if that's what you want to do. I travel all the time, and mine comes right along with me.

I was thinking I am too attached to knowing "my number" but most of you also travel with the scale! That is great (I am talking bathroom scale). We will be gone for about 10 days. I will see if it fits nicely somewhere when packing tomorrow. My daughter and husband will give me "looks" for sure. LOL

Enjoy your vacay liv! You could bring it, and not use it. Could be liberating?

I weight myself every single day (a rely on the weekly weight loss). I was traveling and I had to leave the scale for 5 consecutive days. I was so anxious the first 2 days but I told myself that maybe that’s a chance for me to relax a little bit. I was so scared stepping on the scale, but I was so delighted when I saw a massive weight loss (comparing to the daily weight loss ofc). Just travel and enjoy your time a little bit away from the scale. ❤️

Oh my that scale is so cute... I will think about getting it. My foodscale is an old postal letter scale that I just love for its "oldness" but that little one looked so nice. There also is a travel bathroom scale for sale at amazon... hmmmm....
