Haven't run in 2 weeks so this felt really good today. Need to start pushing myself again to get the scales moving past the 3st lost mark! Only 3lbs to go!

Not too bad thank you. Felt like a ghost town for a while, but seems to be getting some normality back. How has Worthing been?

Welcome Carley! The run or the weightloss? At the moment I am on 1800cals or less a day. I've lowered my carb intake to below 100g net a day (to get net carbs you take your total carbs - fibre intake) and I've made sure I do something physical everyday. I still eat all the foods I like, I just watch portioning and am honest with myself if I have a treat. Also, I used to get really down on myself if I had a bad day, now I just go "oh well" and get straight back to it the next day. Also, I fully appreciate now that weight loss is a marathon not a sprint, so I've given myself 2 years to get where I want to be and I'm almost halfway in 7 months 😁 I'm going to lower my cals to 1700 soon as don't want to plateau. I've tried lots of fad diets and none worked long time for me, so just by eating sensibly and moving more, the weight is coming off nice and steady. Good luck!

Oh! And I also drink a minimum of 2L of water a day to keep pesky water retention at bay 😆
