I'm offshore in a sea of construction workers that want to EAT EAT EAT! The cooks here are trained to feed the workers well, giving the crew energy for the work they have to do. I thought that the salad bar would save me, but it was full of mayonnaise based salads and brown lettuce.

I did my best, picked at a few things - but totally lost will power when I saw the Captain Crunch Bars (kinda like rice crispy treats). I took one bite - OMG SO GOOD, then a second bite - told myself I shouldn't be eating that, then one more bite - chewed so slowly to savor every flavor - then threw the rest of the cookie bar away! So good for me!

So the night will only tell it's tale in the morning ... there is free Haagan Daas, all sorts of cookies, Halloween Candy ... call the galley my Room of Temptation.
