PSU TAILGATING IDEAS, PLEASE! :) I'm planning food for this Saturday. Going to take our camper up to Penn State for the first time to tailgate all weekend. :) There will be 6 of us (4 adult, 1 college & 1 hs student). Looking for low carb food ideas, since I'll be surrounded by food. The game is at noon, so we're having a nice breakfast. My husband's cooking made-to-order meals on our griddle. Was looking for some crock pot ideas...maybe pulled pork. My niece is making chili. I am going to take bologna & cheese, make deviled eggs & maybe some buffalo dip. Thanks! :) Deb

For your crock pot, you could try salsa chicken. Just add 2 to 4 skinless, boneless breasts, and add your favorite salsa. 2 or 3 jars. cook on low until chicken is done, then remove chicken and shred. you can add it back into the salsa, and eat it on whole lettuce leaves, or low carb tortillas. don't forget the shredded cheese!!

Pork rinds sound awesome to use with this!!! I just bought 2 bags for me for a no carb snack!! I grew up eating them. I used to dip them in french onion dip then, I now just mostly eat them plain, with a nice glass of lemon water, now I'l make some fresh salsa and use that instead!!!

I have done meatballs in the crockpot while camping. (Tells you how rugged my campouts are!)

you could make a meat and cheese tray too. (just limit your cheese to 1 oz.)
