I probably just need to step on the scale, but I feel HUGE. So the first 20 pounds was a great success story - and my weight loss hasn't really slowed down - so I have nothing to complain about... except, I still feel BIG. How long until I feel little? Have you ever watched the biggest loser & thought, "Wow, she's lost 60 pounds and she still looks huge?" That's how I feel. It's going to take a 100 pounds to look skinny.

I try to find happiness in each little improvement, but the end goal is SO FAR AWAY.

Just whining, I'm normally more upbeat, just not today.

But remember that every little bit gets you closer to your goal. I am within a couple of pounds of goal weight, so for all intents and purposes that is where I am and I have been maintaining for over a year. As far as feeling fat goes, some days I still do. Mostly I feel skinny now, but sometiems..... So the feeling may not go away completely. We tend to be very critical of ourselves. BTW - I am 5'8" and weigh 138-ish. Joyce

i have lost almost 60lbs and i still see the fat girl in the mirror...i keep telling myself after im under 200 is when ill prolly start to feel skinny...just keep chugging it

5'8" and 138-ish, I am soo terribly jealous. We are the same height, and my absolute lowest adult weight is 177, I have gained this year, and now over 200. I FEEL FAT! But, i am working on it again, now. Anyway, Jenalena, it takes time, and a good attitude, which, sometimes is difficult, but, keep it up! You've gotten this far, you will look better everyday!!
