Well, I'm feeling a little less foggy today, and I did get a workout in yesterday which helped! I had a really big breakfast, so I'm trying to eat better throughout the day, which shouldn't be that big of a problem. I'm going to do my best to have only a lean protein and a fibrous veggie for dinner today instead of having a super high cal dinner. I love salad, so it should be delicious!

My workout buddy and I talked about our workout plan and why not being able to run is ACTUALLY KILLING US. We both want to run SO bad, which I have to say is a first in my life. But I think it's mostly that we hate having to bike for 30 min straight of just boredom. So, we're going to do abs before we even go to the gym. Then we're going to do 15 min of biking and then do a little strength. Then we're going to finish everything with 15 more min of biking :) I think breaking it up will give us the change we need to stay motivated!

Well sounds like you got a plan there. So are you doing a staionary bike or out on the road. I like to bike as well but I cant do road rides and not much of a stationary person. LOVE to do trails. One of my most favorite places is Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville TX. Not that I get ot go there much anymore :( If you are breaking it up like that one suggestion I might throw out there is that you do a hard 15 min ride like say maybe at like 80-85% of your max speed and then go to your strength and then come back and repeat the ride again. Will almost work live interval training. Will get your heart rate up and then bring it back down a little during strength training and then back up again during the ride. Trying to keep you guys as close to that 800-1K workout you guys are missing. would suggest if you are up to a third round on bike would suggest maybe doing your abs after the second round on bike then doing the third ride of bike ride, but that is just a suggestion.

Thanks for the tips! We hooked ourselves up to our heart rate monitors, and mine has a calorie counter based on weight. We ended up doing 15 min of abs, 15 min biking, about 5 strength moves (trying not to mess up our brokenness further lol), and then another 15 min of biking. I pushed myself pretty hard, and my calorie counter says I'm above 1000 cal! I'm stoked, and it's keeping me pumped! Also, I had a really sensible dinner, and am even going to bed a wee bit hungry so that I can try to break myself of the late night snacking habits lol. I did push myself pretty hard on the bike today though, so it was good to get the ol' heart pumping! Thanks for the encouragement :D

Glad to hear you had a good workout. Always really good to get those hard workouts in and the heart pumping. Glad to hear that the tips worked and you got over the 1K mark. Keep up the good work.
