Tears of hope..

That STUPID 1.5 lbs stuck with me today. I've got two more day's to get it gone so I may be where I started before Thanksgiving!

I am trying to get motivated to get into the holiday spirit. This year is an incredibly hard year. I am constantly reminding myself how fortunate my family is right now as I have a good job, a home and health. The bills are getting paid, I'm warm and have all the necessities. I think that this holiday will be about reminding my family what everything is about. I don't need anything (well besides a new roof), others have lost their jobs and their homes in a market where there is no jobs. I really have nothing to complain about when looking at the big picture.

The family will crawl into the attic this weekend and get at least the inside of the house decorated. I hope I am able to lift my spirits a bit at least that way.

I'm staying focused on my eating, but I took the day off from the gym and any other exercise today. I had so much work to do, didn't even notice that it was 3 pm until I had a migraine take me by suprise. It had been a while since I got one that bad!!

Anyway, hopefully "the sherriff" will be nicer tomorrow. I still think he's an ars...
