When I was at 232 (the highest the scale has ever seen for me), I remember thinking, "I was hot at 185, if I could only get to 185". Now, I'm 195, quickly approaching that "hottness". But I want more. I still have a big butt, I've just barely gotten out of the plus size shopping section, and I've just barely started to see a waist line appearing. It's great to see the improvement, but it's not enough!

I was talking to my husband last night, he thinks that I'll have to get down to 120 to look and feel the way I want to. He's wrong. I do not want to be a twig. I have my posted goal weight at 165, and really, I'm excited to get there. For the first time, in a very long time, 165 seems acheivable. I know, one step at a time, I weighed in at 197.7 this morning... and inevitable gain. Not too bad considering the junk I ate on Thanksgiving.

Realistically, I have some more changes to make in order to get to my goal weight. Lately, everything has been about diet. Now it's time to step up & join the gym. Uggg... this is a big deal to make the committment to pay a membership for a year. My history is always to work out for a month then quit... paying for nothing.
