And so the journey continues...a comment made by a woman in our workout class really got my gym buddy and I thinking....as important as it is for our bodies to get healthy and fit it is also important for our minds to get that way too. When I was in HS and 100 lbs lighter I thought I was fat...fear sets in to the fact that we are working so hard towards a goal but who is to say that our minds will see us as a better version of ourselves, will it ever be enough or will we always be unhappy with ourselves? It has become a new mission of mine to work on the health of my mind and to help my mind see the positives that are occuring in my body and my health rather than to dwell on the "negatives" that still exist. I will never have the "perfect" body but it will be a healthier, happier me.
