I was so bad yesterday. The craving of the day was for eggnog with rum. It is Christmas, after all. So I bought Horizon Organic Low Fat Eggnog. Ha! That stuff is not low fat at all. I hate to think how many calories are in regular eggnog. I should have made my own out of low fat milk. At any rate, I had 2 cocktails, each made with 1 c. eggnog. Good grief!!! Then, around midnight, I got the craving for a biscuit with bacon. I got my biscuits from the restaurant down the street, and they are fat, so I cut them in half. Still a large amount of calories. So today will be better. Leftovers again. I'll grill my ham sandwich, because the bread is getting old. I'll take out the mayo and sub in enough butter to grill the sandwich.

AND I used to love diet cherry Dr.Pepper, but they don't sell it any more, so I figured out how to make it myself. Pour a glass of diet Dr. P. over some ice in a glass. Add 1 T maraschino cherry juice and 2 cherries. Yum!!! But look out, because 1 cherry is 1% of the daily calories.

LOL!! Girlfriend, don't think eggnog will ever be fat free, but hopefully you have had it and are good for awhile. I totally get it. We do Mexican in this house over the holiday and my daughter is in charge. . . tamales, pan de polvo . . . oh yea. Pray for me and my tendency to go for "just one more". Will work on our constraint during the holidays and then back to basics in the New year. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
