JamaicaBoundNL's Journal, 31 Dec 20

Good evening my friends.

As we leave 2020, a year frought with loneliness, grief, heartaches and challenges, I ask that you look back and find just one single ray of light. Anything. A child's face filled with wonderment. A beautiful sunset or sunrise. A wet nose of a furbaby. The touch of a loved one. Anything. Just find it.

Once you have it, hold it tight to your heart as you pass into 2021. Keep it close and remember it when times seem hopeless. It will help you through the difficult times that are no doubt going to come.

I hope that 2021 is kinder to humanity than 2020 was. And I hope it is kind to each and every one of you.

Stay safe my friends, as we journey through life together, and happy new year from Newfoundland.

Karen

Hi Pam. I haven't been recording but I have been popping in every now and then, just to check on everyone. Like me, I see a few people are MIA - I hope that's by choice. With the year we've had, I felt I needed to reach out to everyone to wish them the best that I could. I've gained 10 lbs this past year but have been putting in a lot of work with a personal trainer. I'm maintaining that it's all muscle weight. 😊 I've still been watching my food intake, but I think getting older is contributing as well. Well, onward and upward, as they say (whoever "they" are). Always wondered about that as they seem to have an opinion about everything. Take care my friends.
