Things that help with Sodium:
1. Use Mrs. Dash for salt and seasoning. Herbs are good for you and enhance flavor.
2. Buy no salt added canned goods and Herb Ox broth.
3. Rinse all vegetable canned goods. This can remove as much as 40% sodium.
4. Use no salt products: chips, butter. crackers.
5. Drink diet sodas for diabetics.
6. Read all food labels.
7. Prepare your grocery list before you go to grocery store.

My hubby has sodium problems too. He drinks soda with stevia. He found a brand called Zevia and it has no phosphorus and also Blue Sky soda has pure cane sugar but no phosphorus either. He has kidney problems and heart failure so thats why he stays away from high phosphorus. Most dark colas have it but clear ones don't.
