In 3 years I have lost 105-110 lbs. One of the problems is chronic edema. As well as A-fib, diabetes, osteoporosis, and colon problems.
There is very little I do not eat. I do stay way from Sweets (never my biggest temptation).
My problem was always salt and carbs, chips, fried foods, pasta.
Moderation and portion control was what helped me a lot.
Yes, changes have to be made. More vegetables.
There are an enormous amount of low sodium or no salt added options.
I have noticed that my tastes have changed.
At KU Med Center, they were talking about funeral arrangements with family. I decided I wanted to be here a little longer.
