Crystalmcwarren's Journal, 12 Feb 14

So I went on the community link for people on Atkins, I was saddened when I saw how many people were beating up the plan....people it is not a diet, it is a lifestyle! I have been on this lifestyle for 8 months and have dropped 77 pounds, it isn't boring, it is creative, you CHOOSE to eat the same things over and over and not follow what you are supposed to do and then beat up on the plan! Geesh!!! If it can work for me, it can work for anyone, because I am a food addict! If you don't understand it, or haven't really followed it, don't ruin it for those who may want to try it and are willing to sacrifice a little in the beginning to get where they want to be in the end! You MUST believe to Achieve!!!
Rant Over geesh

Just started Adkins on Monday. I'm hoping it works for me.

Hi Crystalmcwarren! I am not familiar with Atkins but I agree with what you are saying about how to view and respect diet plans. If a diet plan doesn't work for you or if you are not comfortable with it, you should still be very objective about it. We should be very careful about our comments because it can unfairly discourage others who could have benefited from it. PS Congratulations on losing 77 pounds! I hope I can lose as much in 8 months! =)
