So the fact that I work in a store with mostly unhealthy, high calorie, carb- filled junk food on hand is a really bad thing. I did well with dieting and following my RDI on the 2 days I was off work.. yesterday not so good. I followed my guidelines in the morning and felt good, Afternoon came and I had avoided the snack and candy counters all morning! YAY me! but I made a brutal mistake when I went into our break room and found someone had brought in strawberry cupcakes and alas I was unable to avoid that temptation and had 1, I knew it was bad for me but strawberry is my favorite! OK don't beat yourself up over it and get on with the rest of the day....Wrong.. sweet led to a salty craving...2oz of Bacon jerky...not so bad no carbs, but the calories and fat...OMG! then I had about 4 crackers! STOP the insanity! Came home from work and had a large glass of grapefruit juice.. UGH!! Topped the night off with a 10oz steak. HOW DO I GET RID OF ALL THE TEMPTATIONS? THEY PLAGUE ME!!!!!!!
