My mom is coming to visit tomorrow!! Yay!! I am so excited!! I miss her so much. She lives 5 hours away and that is just too far for me. We are best friends. And my kids adore her. So, we are very anxious for her arrival. I have lots of cleaning to do. I feel like I keep a pretty clean house, but when my mom is coming, everything seems to look so dirty!! So, my workout today will be dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, mopping, scrubbing toilets, changing sheets, and so on and so on. My mom is dieting too and is always VERY supportive of our eating styles when she comes to visit. She always cooks dinner for us according to how we are eating. So, no worries on the diet front. She even said "I want us to go walking EVERY day while I am at your house." So, I am feeling very confident that I will post another loss on Monday. Even with her visit.

Anyone watch American Idol last night? I think my favorite from that group has to be Danny Gokey. He was great!

Well, I hope your Wednesday is not as rainy and gloomy as it is here in GA!!

Oh I am so happy for you! (Okay, and a little jealous, too. lol) :) My mom and I are too, best friends, and she lives about 7-8 hours away, depending on the traffic and the kids. Getting there w/kids is nearly impossible in under 8. My heart aches to see her often. Have an amazingly fun time and take lots of photos! I never get enough pics of her and dads visits, as I'm just trying to suck up as much time with them as I can and getting behind the camera is too time consuming! lol I only caught the end of Idol. Seems most of the end were all "flops" or not "all that". It's always on right at the kids' bedtime, so I'm "tending to them" for a lot of the show, you know, drinks, "mom, she's pinching me", "she's touching me", yadda yadda! lol Your chart looks great! Keep on kicking it up!

Hi bT! Gracie, you are so lucky to have your Mom and it's so nice to see how much you appreciate her. I really hope you totally have the opportunity to enjoy each other. I think cleaning up around the house and moving things is the best exercise because when you are done you have accomplished something other than just burning calories. Hey Gracie, you chart is looking fantastic these days, keep up the outstanding work!

Thanks guys! BT: I hear ya on the bedtime thing. I let mine stay up late and watch it with me last night b/c they are out of school for winter break. but normally it is a race to the finish to get them in bed before my shows come on.

I'm with you this week; have just arrived at my daughgter's (2 grand girls) for a few days. WE are dieting together. I also live about 4 1/2 hrs from her and son-in-law. Let's all have fun with Mom & Grfandmom!!!!!!!

LOL Yep, we're on mid winter break too, but I refuse to let them get used to staying up for a week and then try to get them back to "routine again"... they're too old for that and I end up paying the price! lol But, here we are at after 9 pm and I have allowed them to camp out on the couch, watching a movie. =S Oi. At least they are resting... ;)
