I'm not feeling good on this low carb diet. The first week I lost tons of weight (over 4 kgs), the second week I gained 1/2 kg, the 3rd week and my weight stayed the same. I've been coming in way lower than my calorie allowance, so it makes no sense. I guess my promising start was just an illusion.
Also, I know it's normal to not feel great after cutting out most carbs, but I feel really bad. I am so tired and unmotivated that lugging myself to the next room seems like a chore. I've been going to bed earlier and earlier each night. My joints are acting up and I'm sore all over.
I talked to my husband about how I've been feeling and he thinks it's my body's way of saying that it isn't happy and I should stop it. I agree, I don't want to feel like this anymore.
I'm going back to my usual counting calorie diet, with well rounded amounts of every food group. It might take me longer to lose weight that way, but at least I won't feel like rubbish doing it. So goodbye low carb diet!
