Jeggy123's Journal, 10 Apr 14

Haven't written in my diary for a while, however I have been very good.
A few things I'm worried about is I haven't been buying the yoghurt recommended as its so expensive. Been eating full fat Greek yoghurt instead. Do people think this is ok? I have maybe about 100-200g once a day.
Another worry, is with my schedule, I don't normally eat dinner until after 9pm. I also sometimes eat fruit quite late at night, can this affect weight loss?
Lastly, not sure if sometimes my portion sizes are too big, however its mostly veg and mixed beans, so does it matter?

The only time I have slipped up was yesterday when I ate 2 naked bars, as I was stressed and tired, I nearly bought chocolate but resisted!

Apart from that I haven't eaten anything bad for 10 days now. On the juiceplus group on facebook, people comment on how they lost over 8lbs on the detox.. I haven't weighed myself but definitely don't think I have lost that much. Maybe a pound or two... Bit depressing as I'm trying so hard and exercising most days.

Full fat yogurt is good. Some fat in your diet is important. Most studies show it doesn't really matter when you eat, It's more about how much you take in and how much you burn off. Think of those people who work nights, they still lose. You really have to experiment with how your body is losing and make changes as you go. If you eat dinner late one might, the scale might be up the next, but down two days later. That's why you should understand weight fluctuations. Google "why the scale lies" for insight. You won't know what you have lost till you weigh. And don't just think about the scale. Think about all the positive changes you are making and realize it takes time to learn about our bodies and lose. Notice how your clothes are fitting too. Good luck!
