I've been up and down in my quest for a healthy & active lifestyle for over two decades, here's a snapshot of my latest comeback. January vs yesterday. I didn't start back on my plan until early March, but this is the only picture I have that's closest to a before. I just recently lowered my calorie intake from about 1600 to 1475 daily cal intake. I've dropped only 6 lbs in weight in 2 month's time, but I have also gained muscle. I'm happy with my overall toning process, I'm definitely not as soft as I was. Still have work to do!

Saw your photo, looking lovely, fit, and youthful. As you said, slower is probably better for people who are not starting out overweight because you want to retain LBM.
