Made it through day 5 without difficulty. I did hours of cleaning house yesterday and some yard work. Ankles and feet were very much in pain last night and with edema. I have to get them back use to being up and standing on them..it will take time. Day 6 isn't going bad as far as the challenge. However, I went shopping with my daughter today so I can buy a new pair of jeans for the weekend, mind you a size bigger since my surgery in Feb 12th, 2014. But that was poor food choices, depression and lack of being allowed to move (dr orders so ankle can heal). The walking was so intense today and painful. The non-surgical ankle hurt worse that the other, I hope that it can last a year before the next surgery. It is only 11 weeks post-op on Wednesday, so I need to allow the pain and be patient.
I hope everyone else is having a blessed day.
Peace n Love xoxoxo be kind to yourself and others
