Phooey. :-/ I didn't get to the gym like I had wanted to today. I did so-so when out to lunch, and subsequently overshot my budget by a good bit. (Lunch was a treat from my mother in law. :) From time to time my husband, daughter, and I get together with her on my husband's lunch break to have lunch. Today was a lunch buffet at a Korean/Japanese BBQ place.) Of course lunch buffets generally are risky endeavors when watching your diet, but I am going to just enjoy it. The food was delicious, I avoided the noodles, rice, and extra greasy stuff. Dinner was really good too. Today wasn't a deficit day. In fact it's my first/ only calorie surplus day for the month. I'll endeavor to keep it that way, though what's done is done. I have some dinners planned for some of the week, so that's a load of stress off. I'll try to use that time to hit the gym. It's Shabbat, time to rest. Today I want to keep it that way in my life; sufficient for each day is its own troubles.
